The silhouette draws from the traditional angrakha, reworked into a more controlled, contemporary structure with side tie-ups. The sleeves carry the focus. Fully embroidered using zardosi and aari techniques, they depict the holy apes motif in dense, layered detail. The surface holds weight and texture against the simplicity of the satin body. The contrast between the restrained base and the ornate sleeve creates a clear point of emphasis. The tie-ups for closure are finished with handmade brass buttons, adding a small point of weight, improving the fall. It is designed to move across contexts.
