• Coiled resham dori (silk thread) spirals down the neckline like notes caught mid-air, rising the way sama (arabic for poetic gatherings dedicated to divinity) does, rising rather than resolving. we call it naghma, melody, for the sound devotion makes when words run out. flared olive chanderi (cotton silk), broad border humming quietly at the hem and sleeves echoing the same. the dupatta carries the coils in ascending order, as if the notes haven't finished playing yet. pair with ampm’s zahra point-toe flats.
