• ‘Sondha' gold kurta draws from our textile archives, featuring gold silk twill as the base, punctuated with poppy flowers in silk tissue. The varanasi silk brocade textile is engineered for zardozi embroidery which adds to the tactility of the weave, uniting weaving (bunai) and embroidery (kadhai). It is paired with the black 'janoli' lehenga, with a single zardozi stripe. This handwoven textile reflects natural variations within yarn, color, weave or embroidery.
